Community meeting: Making Brighton & Hove an Age-Friendly City with Annie Alexander, B&HCC Public Health Programme Manager

Thursday 27 June 8pm St Michael's Community Hall

Annie Alexander, B&HCC Public Health Programme Manager, will talk about Brighton & Hove's recent admission as a member of WHO's Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities – an international grouping ‘that shares a commitment to create urban environments that foster healthy, active ageing’. Come and find out how Brighton & Hove can become an Age-Friendly City. As part of the B&HCC public health team, Annie will also be able to tell us something about public health's move out of the NHS (after 40 years), back to local government, as part of the recent NHS changes.
